British people’s language

The official language of British is English. However, English is not the only language used in the British. I will introduce it.

1. Scottish
2. Welsh
3. Irish

Scottish is originally a language closely related to English. Scottish is the same SVO type as the English word order. Many words are spelled slightly differently. For example, about→aboot and welcome→walcome. Used in the Ulster region of Scotland and Ireland.

Welsh language, which is said to have its roots, was spoken by Celts from the continent before the Romans ruled Great Britain. Originally Welsh had no letters, and official documents used Latin letters. In history, there was a time when the official language of Wales was only English, and at that time it was forbidden to speak Welsh at schools. However, it was certified as an official language in 1993, and now school education is being conducted as a second language. Welsh has pronunciations that neither English nor Japanese have, and it is said that it is quite difficult for people from other countries to reproduce them.

Irish is also a Celtic language. This was originally an Irish native language. It is not often used in recent conversations.

I think there are three places where people of different languages can speak.

Various people gather at school. Japanese is the official language of all Japanese people, but even in Japan it can be the same school as people who speak different languages. Some people are half-people, and some people have moved from other country. I think school is the bet place to interact with people who have different characteristics.

I have a part-time job at Starbucks Coffee. I interact with many people during my part-time job. Various customers come to the store. For example age, appearance and values are different. There are also people who cannot speak Japanese or who are deaf. For these people, we think about how to convey it in our own way and devise ways to provide the best experience to our customers. For example, I point to the menu and communicate, and communicate in simple English. At my part-time job, I see a royal customers talking to each other. I think the cafe will be a place to interact with various people, even if there is no relationship between the clark and the customer.

People of different languages can interact with many people by playing sports. I have been playing basketball for 10 years. I have been involved with people who speak different languages through basketball. Playing basketball means playing basketball under common rules around the world. And they should know the players who are active in the NBA. Therefore, I chose the stadium as a common hobby place.

I have listed three places where we can have good conversations, but I think our motivation is important for talking to people in different languages. If you want to get involved with people in different languages, you need to be willing to go to a place where you can have a good conversation.
